The mid-century style is one of my very favorites. It may be my love for Eames and Mies Van Der Rohe designs or the nostalgia that brings be back to my grandparent’s mid-century dining set that we sit around at every holiday. Either way, I think that many mid-century designs are timeless pieces that can be paired with almost anything. Here I have put together an inspiration board of a few pieces that we carry at Perch.
1. The Solstice Lamp is crafted by the folks at Ample using solid Walnut legs, a hand-made natural linen shade, cloth-covered cord, and nickel-plated, solid brass socket.
2. Our Sterling sofa is a classic. Our solid hardwood and kiln dried frames ensure the quality that was found in classic mid-century pieces.
3. Our Neighborhood chairs are simple, beautiful pieces inspired by Paul Jensen’s ‘Z’ chair and built just north of us, in Seattle.
4. The Lima rug (produced by Chandra) is a flat-woven, 100% wool, hand-crafted rug.
