Creating furniture with Perch is a bit like choosing your own adventure. Want to shrink or enlarge a sectional to fit your space? Not a problem. We can easily make dimension adjustments. Love one of our sofas but wish it had three seats instead of two and different legs? No worries. We can make any style change, from the type of stitching on the seams to the shape of the cushions. Our goal is to help you create furniture you absolutely love.

Earth friendly options: You can choose to have your sofa built with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified hardwoods, water-based glues, latex foam, and natural fiber fabrics.

Made in Los Angeles: We are committed to offering upholstered furniture that is hand-built in the United States. Working with American manufacturers allows us to reduce shipping costs and time, create made-to-order pieces based on our customers’ specifications, and ensure that our furniture is constructed in a responsible way.

Frames: All of our sofas, chairs, sectionals, and chaises are built with kiln-dried alder — a hardwood that is extremely durable and resistant to warping and cracking. The corners and arms of each piece are reinforced for added strength. All frames come with a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser and protect against breakage or cracking under normal household use.

Springs: Our sofas are built with heavy 8-gauge sinuous seat springs. The spring system is attached to the frame with Teflon-coated clips.

Cushions: Our standard cushion features a sandwich construction with a 2.0 density foam core surrounded by slightly softer foam and double fiber wrap for comfort. We also offer high resiliency foam, 70/30 down blend cushions (filled with 70% goose feathers and 30% goose down) and feather cloud cushions (with high resiliency foam core surrounded by a channeled casing that is filled with down, feathers, and super soft polyester fibers).

Fabric: The sky is the limit. We stock hundreds of fabrics and leathers and can send a customer’s own material (COM) to our workshops.

Bases: You can choose from a range of styles and stains for wooden bases, plus custom metal work.

Size: Adjust the length, height, width, and depth of any sofa, chair, or sectional down to the inch.
